Gundam SEED Collector's Ultra Edition Blu-ray

The broadcast masters for this release were previously used in error, but the issue has now been resolved. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Collector's Ultra Edition contains episodes 1-48 of the HD TV (Remastered) series and episodes 1-50 of the original SD TV series, as well as 3 "Special Edition" Movie compilations directed by Mitsuo Fukuda.

The Ultra Edition Set also includes over 2 hours of video extras and an exclusive 118-page hardcover art book. This art book features HD Art Galleries, SD Art Galleries, Data Archives on both the Characters and Mecha, Outroductions, a Gundam SEED Glossary, and a double-sided tear-out poster. Episodes 1-50 of the Original series dub release and compilations will only be available as part of this Ultra Collection.

In Year 70 of the Cosmic Era, the Coordinators, a group of genetically enhanced humans, have moved into space, establishing the Coordinators' homeland of the PLANTS. In contrast, the Naturals, unmodified humans, remain on Earth. Tensions escalate between the two groups, leading to the outbreak of the Bloody Valentine War. At the center of this conflict is the mobile suit Gundam, a highly advanced and powerful weapons system.

The story follows Kira Yamato, a Coordinator who gets caught up in the war when his neutral home is attacked. He ends up joining the Archangel, an Earth Alliance warship, and becomes the pilot of the powerful Gundam unit. Kira is a reluctant fighter, but his skill and the Gundam's capabilities make him a crucial asset in the war.

Alongside Kira, the series introduces a diverse cast of characters, including Athrun Zala, Kira's childhood friend who has joined the ZAFT military, and Lacus Clyne, the daughter of a PLANT leader who becomes a symbol of peace. As the war progresses, the characters are forced to grapple with complex moral dilemmas and the consequences of their actions.
